To ensure your safety and an enjoyable tattoo experience we never reuse a needle and all tubes are put through an intensive 3-step sterilization process.
|
New protective barriers are placed on all surfaces and equipment prior to each procedure to prevent any cross-contamination.
And our Autoclave is professionally monitored for accuracy.
|
|
|
In addition we also follow the below guidelines and procedures
|
Our autoclave is spore tested weekly and every load is monitored chemically.
We use opticide to disinfect all work surfaces. Opticide kills hepatitis in 3 minutes.
Of course all needles are sterilized and used only once.
The needles are disposed of in a sharps container and picked up by a medical waste disposal company.
Tubes are put through an extensive sterilization process that begins with an enzymatic soak and ends with a complete and monitored autoclave cycle. They are in individual sterile packets.
Once they are sterilized the tubes are kept in clean, dry, dust free drawers enclosed in their individual sterile packets.
Our floors are medical grade non porous material that are mopped daily and also maintained by a professional floor company.
Our staff maintains CPR and first aid training.
All staff members receive blood born pathogen training yearly.
Appropriate protective barriers are used during the tattoo process to eliminate cross contamination.
Our ink is maintained in an aseptic environment and all ink put out for a tattoo is disposed of after each customer.
Proper hand-washing technique is used.
And we never worry about using "too many gloves". Several clean, new pairs of gloves are used during a tattoo - from the set up of the tattoo through out the tattoo experience and through the clean up.
